This standard asks you to develop and refine your sculpture ideas through drawing, learning from how professional and established sculptors work. You need to create a series of drawings that show how your ideas develop over time, using techniques and approaches inspired by real sculptors you've studied. Your drawings should demonstrate that you understand sculpture's particular way of working as you think through your own artistic problems.
What to do, grades and common mistakes
- ·Create a series of drawings (not just one or two) that show your ideas developing and building on each other over time
- ·Analyse and reflect on your sculpture concepts by drawing them from different angles, materials, or approaches
