You need to show you understand at least three different psychological approaches and explain what makes each one unique. For each approach, you'll describe its main ideas and the theories or research that support it. The standard is asking you to compare how different approaches explain human behaviour in different ways.

- ·For Excellence level: apply the approaches to explain actual real-life situations or behaviours to show how the approaches work in practice
