You need to show that you understand how the ancient classical world (Greece and Rome) connects to a culture that came after it—either our own modern culture or another one. You'll explain the links by comparing what's similar, what's different, and how ideas from the ancient world influenced later societies. The links can be about things like religion, democracy, entertainment, art, or food.
What to do, grades and common mistakes
- ·Choose specific aspects of the classical world (like Athenian democracy, Greek mythology, Roman architecture) and a post-classical culture to compare
- ·Explain the similarities and differences between these aspects across the two cultures
