This standard asks you to compare how a science topic is understood through both Māori and Pākehā (European/Western) knowledge systems. You'll pick a science topic (like genetic engineering, harvesting natural resources, or medicine) and explain how each knowledge system views and approaches it differently, showing you understand both perspectives and can identify real differences in their values and practices.
