What you actually do
- ·Create orthographic (2D) drawings that show the main views of your design (front, side, top) using correct projection methods
- ·Create paraline (3D) drawings like isometric or oblique views that show your design in three dimensions
- ·Use proper technical drawing conventions including correct line types, labels, dimensions, and scale to communicate your design clearly
- ·Show enough detail and select appropriate views that demonstrate you understand how your design is constructed and how its parts fit together
- ·Include at least one page of supporting work (like development sketches) that shows your thinking about the design's function and how it's used
