You need to act out a character from a script in front of an audience while working and reacting with another actor. You'll show what your character is like and what they want by using your voice, body, movement, and the space around you in the scene. The script can be from an existing play, a devised piece you've written, or even just an excerpt—as long as it has proper character development and back-and-forth between actors.

- ·Act consistently with another performer in a way that fits the scene and shows understanding of your character's situation

- ·React and listen to the other actor authentically, not just reading lines or performing a monologue
- ·Maintain your character throughout the performance excerpt without breaking focus
- ·Show clear characterisation opportunities—pick a role or script that lets you develop your character fully, not a tiny part in a big group scene
