You need to compose two pieces of music from scratch that are substantial enough to show real development of your musical ideas. Each piece must be submitted with both an audio recording and written/visual documentation (like sheet music, chord charts, or notation) that shows what you intended to create. You can work alone or as part of a small group (2–5 people).

- ·Create an audio recording of each composition that can be played on a standard CD player or computer without special music software
- ·Provide visual representation (such as standard notation, lyric sheets, chord charts, tab, graphic notation, or narrative description) that clearly shows what you intended the music to do
