Physical activity planning
Devise strategies for a physical activity outcome
Study with Coach
Save your actual school result to count your credits.
You need to create strategies to help someone (yourself or others) improve at a physical activity and actually put those strategies into practice. This involves understanding the science and real-world factors behind your choices, then testing and refining your approach based on what actually works. The whole point is applying your knowledge to get real results in a sport, fitness goal, outdoor activity, or coaching situation.
What to do, grades and common mistakes
- ·Select and explain the knowledge (biophysical like anatomy/physiology/training methods, or socio-cultural like cultural/environmental factors) that supports your chosen strategies
- ·Test your strategies in practice and observe what happens
- ·Adjust and refine your strategies based on what you learn from testing
- ·Document your reasoning for why each strategy should work toward your goal
- ·Reflect on the process and show how your strategies actually helped achieve the physical activity outcome
You devise strategies that address the physical activity outcome, explain the knowledge behind them, and show you've tested and adjusted them based on results.
You devise in-depth strategies with strong, logical reasoning about why the knowledge underpins your approach, with clear evidence of thoughtful adjustment and reflection.
